Shu Kai Ma is originally from Hong Kong, where he previously worked as an A&E Consultant in a university hospital and gained extensive clinical experience. He is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and has a Fellowship in the Royal College of Emergency Medicine. He is proficient in emergency point of care ultrasound, paediatric care, acute pain management, and musculoskeletal medicine. He moved to the UK to pursue a new pathway as a registered chiropractor and is now living in Wallington with his wife and two children.
With a long‑standing interest in musculoskeletal medicine, he completed his MSc Chiropractic (Merit) at AECC of HSU in Bournemouth. He believes in a gentle, rehabilitation‑focused approach that emphasises posture correction, functional movement, and patient education. When appropriate, he also incorporates dry needling and therapeutic ultrasound to help reduce pain and support tissue healing.
Outside of practice, Shu enjoys swimming and lifesaving, holding a UK National lifesaving qualification. He also enjoys snooker and lawn bowling.
Shu aims to create a calm, respectful environment where patients feel listened to and supported, and he looks forward to helping individuals and families improve their comfort, mobility, and overall well‑being.
