Charlie Ford

Charlie qualified with a Masters degree in Osteopathy from the University College of Osteopathy (previously the British School of Osteopathy). He also has a qualification in sports massage and dry needling.

Years of persistent lower back pain led him to pursue a career in Osteopathy after experiencing first-hand the impact that it can have on improving the quality of life for those who suffer from chronic pain, acute injuries and day-to-day aches and pains.

Throughout his studies, he gained invaluable experience working in specialist clinics with each focusing on a particular population such as: patients living with chronic conditions such as HIV and elderly patients dealing with osteoarthritis and osteoporosis, as well as treating a wide range of patients in the general clinic.

Charlie utilises a variety of modalities to address each patient’s unique needs, including joint mobilisation, soft tissue massage, dry needling and exercise prescription. He believes that it is vital for the treatment and management plan to be tailored specifically for the patient’s needs to enable them to achieve their personal goals.

In his spare time, Charlie enjoys running, weight training and producing music.
